Celebration Saturday!

Yes, it is Saturday...so I must be celebrating something. No..this is not teacher related!

I just had to share (and celebrate a little)....we bought a new car! I have finally decided to give up my mini-van (it has been a great mode of transportation for 8 years...) and get something smaller. I wanted something sporty with a sunroof....and knew i wanted a Volkswagen.

So this is it.....

I test drove the TDI (it was loaded with satellite radio, a navigation system, key less entry, push-button on/off). But it was TOO fancy for me (and so was the price tag) so I decided on a toned-down model. We got a SWEET deal...and I will get to pick it up in a few days. YAY me!!
