Should I Stay or Should I Go...SHOPPING?!?!?!

It is Friday...which means tomorrow my boy comes back home from camp. Today is my last day to get things crossed off the TO-DO list I created when he left last Sunday.

For the record...I have not really crossed ANYTHING completely off my list. Sad, I know!!! But in my defense....the lure of the computer, Pinterest, Facebook and thousand of blogs to read was just too powerful this week.

So I am sitting here reading blogs (shocking, I know) and I keep seeing posts about everyone shopping the Back-To-School sales and all the bargains they are finding. I really need to go out and pick up a few things at Wal-Mat an I was sorta thinking while I was out I might just stop by Target and Dollar Tree and see what they have to offer. I have no will-power so I know I will come home with bags of stuff.

This is not really a good idea because I have not really finalize my classroom theme for this year and I am not sure what colors I want to do.

So should I resist the urge (I am an impulse buyer) or should I go...leave me a comment below and let m know what you think!!

  1. I resisted the urge today to go shopping. I was thinking about going to pick up fabric to make some table skirts for my room, but I decided to wait. I'm trying to prioritize what I really need to get and what I can wait on. Plus, payday will be coming soon and I hate paying full price! I'm going to wait until the end of July to check out back-to-school deals on supplies.

    1. Stephanie-

    1. Pat-
I caved and went to Dollar Tree because I saw some cute things there the other day. With DT, if you don't grab it when they first put t out, you are out of luck. Thanks for dropping by.

  3. Tough call. I think it would depends on attire. Are you dressed to go out? It may not be worth it if you are in lounge pants. Hehe. If you are already presentable though, I say go. You can't waste that. :)

    1. I was dressed, just being lazy! Actually just didn't want to get off the computer. I think it will be worse when I get my iPad this week!! I did end up going to Dollar Tree and found some cute stuff...they were putting out more as I was shopping so I think I can justify another trip there this week.

  4. Hi Patti! Thanks for following me and it is indeed good to have another SC teacher to bounce standards ideas with!
I am writing and planning a back to school wedding - so I am staying away from back to school sales, even though I shouldn't be!!! I'll regret it later i"m sure! =)
